  • Represented a national real estate company in the $25 million sale of a 73,000 square foot office building in the Washington D.C. metropolitan area
  • Represented an entrepreneurial real estate development and construction management company in land acquisition in Florida, and structured and negotiated the simultaneous sale of the parcel to a charter school owner/operator
  • Represented a closely held real estate company in the acquisition and financing of a $20 million apartment building in the Philadelphia metropolitan area
  • Represented a publicly traded home builder in the acquisition of over 60 parcels of land throughout the country for residential development

FINANCING

  • Structured and negotiated a $40 million construction loan on behalf of a national real estate developer for the development of a transit-oriented apartment project in the Washington D.C. metropolitan area
  • Negotiated and documented on behalf of the borrower the workout of a commercial mortgage financing with a national bank that resulted in the discounted payoff of the debt
  • Handled the structuring and negotiation of a $17.5 million mortgage refinancing of a Class A office building in northern Virginia on behalf of a joint venture between a national home builder and a state pension fund
  • Negotiated and documented a $56 million construction loan on behalf of a joint venture between two publically traded real estate companies for the development of a Class A multifamily apartment project in the Philadelphia metropolitan area
  • Negotiated and documented a $89 million construction loan on behalf of a joint venture between a publically traded REIT and a national real estate developer for the development of a 29-story mixed use project consisting of apartment units, office and retail space in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania
  • Negotiated and documented a $59 million construction loan on behalf of a national real estate developer for the development of a multifamily apartment project in the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area

LEASING AND ASSET MANAGEMENT

  • Represent several non-real estate companies in the structuring, negotiation and documentation of leases for their commercial office space throughout the United States
  • Represented a national real estate management company in the negotiation of its platform property management agreement to manage a portfolio of multifamily projects for an institutional investor
